Today's blog post is going to be a sneak peek of the OPI Nordic Mini Collection. I have heard lots of really great things about the nail polishes from this collection and I got to say that the entire collection looks pretty tempting.

I'm thinking about doing a blog post with a review and swatches of the nail polishes in this cute little nail polish set. Is that something that you would like to see? Let me know in the comments down below and I will try to have that post up for you as soon as possible! :-)

BEAUTY & HAIR CARE HAUL: ARTDECO, LABEL.M & SCHWARZKOPF PROFESSIONAL

Hey everyone, long time no talk! How have you been? It's been a while since I have done a blog post now. I just recently got a new job, which have been taking up a lot of my time. After taking a little break from the blog, I now feel more inspired and I have a couple of new ideas for future blog posts in mind. I'm excited to get back into blogging again, because I miss talking to you guys! :-)

Today's post is going to be a beauty and hair care haul. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to an event at a hair salon called Mariela by one of my good friends. We all got a goodie bag, which was filled with a couple of sample sized hair care products. I thought that it would be fun to show you the items that I got in the goodie bag, as well as the items that I decided to buy at the event! :-)

♥ Goodie Bag: label m. Treatment Shampoo (HERE), Moisturizing Conditioner (HERE), Protein Spray (HERE) & Schwarzkopf Professional Osis+ Session Fresh (HERE).

♥ Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Glamour Queen, (HERE).

 ♥ ArtDeco Beauty Box, (HERE).

♥ ArtDeco Eyeshadow in 34, (HERE) & 578, (HERE).

I got my eye makeup done at the event by one of the lovely girls who work there. She used an eyeshadow primer and a couple of eyeshadows from a brand called ArtDeco. I really liked the look that she created on me, so I decided to pick up one of the eyeshadows that she used on me. I also picked up another eyeshadow and a pretty lip gloss from the same brand. They were having a ''buy three, pay for two'' deal going on at the event, which was too good to pass up. God knows that I don't need more makeup, but I love trying out new beauty products. I love playing around with makeup, because it makes me happy! :-)

Disclaimer:
The products from label. m and Schwarzkopf Professional Osis+ Session Fresh was gifted to me at the event.

Have you picked up any new beauty/hair care products lately? Are you familiar with ArtDeco? Have you tried any products from them? :-) Love, Christine♥

MONTHLY FAVORITES: OCTOBER 2014

November is creeping up on us, which means that it's time to share the products that I have been loving and reaching for a lot during the month of October. I have been enjoying quite a few products this month and I'm so excited to be able to share them with you guys in today's little beauty post! :-)

♥ My Monthly Favorites: October 2014.

♥ Stila Cosmetics One Step Correct Primer, HERE.

One Step Correct by Stila Cosmetics has once again made it into my monthly favorites. I have been reaching for it non stop during the month October, so I figured I would give it another shoutout. If you're not familiar with this lovely little product from Stila Cosmetics, it's a color-corrector, brightener and anti-aging skincare serum primer. It contains 3 color-correcting brighteners. A green tone which instantly neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes, a lavender tone which counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look and a peach tone which brightens, illuminates and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots.

It looks very pretty and flawless on the skin. It gives you that glow from within look, which I'm loving at the moment. The primer feels very hydrating and moisturizing on the skin, so it's a great little product if you have dry skin! :-)

♥ Fullips Pucker Up Lip Plumper in Nude Beige, HERE

A lip product that I have been loving this month is the Fullips Pucker Up Lip Plumper in Nude Beige. It has a mineral based formula, which is enriched with Vitamin-E, contain menthol for a natural plumper and a light vanilla flavor. It has a very smooth and soft texture, which feels amazing on the lips. It doesn't feel sticky, which is one of the main reasons why I'm obsessed with it.

It's definitely one of the most comfortable lip products that I have worn on my lips. It's a lip plumper, which means that it's going to plump up your lips and make them look a little more pouty and delisious. It's does string the lips a little. It doesn't hurt, but you can definitely feel it on your lips! :-)

♥ bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara, HERE

The Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara by bare Minerals has been my favorite and go-to mascara for the entire month of October. It was part of the Lash Stash To Go set, which I ordered from Sephora a while ago. The formula isn't too wet nor too dry, just the way I like it. It gives my lashes nice length and much needed volume without making them stick together or look clumpy.

I already have a backup of this mascara in my beauty stash, which I will be opening up as soon as I'm done with this tube! :-)

♥ Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black, HERE

The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara has been another mascara favorite of mine this month. I love how easy it is to apply and that it doesn't make my lower eye lashes clump together and feel stiff and uncomfortable. It's got a tiny little brush, which make the entire application so easy to control and it comes right of with a waterproof makeup remover! :-)

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Fix+, HERE

I like to use MAC Cosmetics's Fix+  to refresh my face and keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I like to use it before and after I have applied my makeup. It's great because it doesn't ruin my makeup and it keeps it looking nice and fresh during the day. It's not going to make your makeup last longer though, so just keep that in mind. If you are looking for a really good makeup setting spray, the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is the bomb! :-)

♥ Favorite Movie Of The Month: Edge Of Tomorrow! Photo Source, HERE

Edge Of Tomorrow is a brand new Sci-Fi movie starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie is about a military officer who is brought into an alien war against an extraterrestrial enemy who can reset the day and know the future. He is enabled with the same power and teams up with a Special Forces warrior to try and end the war.

The movie is very well made. It didn't have a single boring minute and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way though to the end. If you love Sci-Fi movies, you should add this one to you're watch list! :-)

What beauty products have you been loving for the month of October? Have you watched any cool movies or TV shows lately? Have you seen Edge Of Tomorrow yet? What did you think about it? :-) Love, Christine♥

MAKEUP REVOLUTION SALVATION EYESHADOW PALETTE IN GIVE THEM NIGHTMARES: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

Makeup Revolution have released a brand new Salvation eyeshadow palette and it's called Give Them Nightmares. Today, I'm bringing you a review and swatches of each eyeshadow in the palette. Give Them Nightmares is Makeup Revolution's 7th eyeshadow palette in the Salvation range and it's filled with beautiful, dark toned eyeshadows which are perfect for this time of year! :-)

♥ Makeup Revolution Salvation Eyeshadow Palette in Give Them Nightmares.

The Makeup Revolution Salvation Eyeshadow Palette in Give Them Nightmares comes with 12 shimmery and 6 matte eyeshadows. The eyeshadows have a smooth and creamy texture, which are easy to work with and blend out. Some of the eyeshadows in the palette are a little more pigmented than other, but overall the pigmentation is great. The eyeshadows don't have a lot of fallout either, which is nice.

Give Them Nightmares comes in a black and sleek compact. Inside the palette there is a little plastic filter with the name of each eyeshadow as well as a decent sized mirror and a sponge applicator. I don't reach for sponge applicators on a daily basis, but I think that they are very useful and handy to travel with. Give Them Nightmares is a great little palette to take with you on holiday trips, because it has a nice selection of colors to play around with.

Overall, I really like the Atomic Lipstick Collection from Makeup Revolution. I think it's super fun and very different from a lot of lipstick collections that are hitting the beauty market now. I have always been into dark and fun lip colors, so this collection is right up my alley. My favorite lipsticks from this collection are Atomic Ruby and Make Me Magnificent. They are both gorgeous and they look so pretty on the lips. They are definitely the ''must have'' shades from this collection in my opinion! :-)

I really like that Makeup Revolution have added a dark green lipstick to this collection, because I think it makes it a little more interesting and fun. I don't know when I would rock a green lip, but it's always fun to play around and just have fun every now and then. Halloween is right around the corner, which is the perfect occasion to use it and have some fun with it. It would be such a nice finishing touch to any costume! :-)

MAC COSMETICS PAINT POT COLLECTION

Happy Monday! How are you all doing today? I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. Today, I have a brand new collection post to share with you all. I had a lot of fun sharing my MAC Cosmetics lipstick collection with you guys, so I thought that I would continue this fun new series with my Paint Pot collection from MAC Cosmetics.

My Paint Pot collection consists of 4 paint pots. It's definitely not the biggest collection out there, but I'm very happy with the shades that I have collected so far. Let's go ahead and take look at my little collection of MAC Cosmetics Paint Pots.

♥ MAC Cosmetics Paint Pot in Bare Study, Painterly, Rubenesque & Groundwork.

The Paint Pots from MAC Cosmetics have a nice and creamy texture, which makes them very easy to apply. They are really pigmented and they last a long time on the eyes as well. If I'm in a hurry and I don't have much time to do my makeup, I just pop one of these on my eyes, apply a few coats of mascara and I'm good to go. They are so quick and easy to use and I really like that they are long wearing! :-)

I have Bare Study, Painterly, Rubenesque and Groundwork in my collection and guess what? They are all neutrals off course, ha ha. Neutrals are my favorites, because they look good with absolutely everything. I love all of them, but Bare Study is definitely my favorite one out of the bunch. I just love how it brightens up the eyes and instantly make them look more awake! :-)

What do you think about the Paint Pots from MAC Cosmetics? Which one is your favorite? :-) Love, Christine♥

MONTHLY FAVORITES: SEPTEMBER 2014

Happy Monday! How are you guys doing today? It's almost October, which means that it's time for a brand new monthly favorites post. September has been a good month. When it comes to beauty products I have been sticking to a lot of the same products as I showed you in my previous favorites post, but I do have a couple of new items that I have been reaching for a lot during the month of September.

Like always, I have included a couple of personal favorites too such as a fashion favorite and a TV show that both Simon and I have been loving! :-)

 ♥ My September Favorites.

♥ Stila Cosmetics One Step Correct Primer, HERE.

One Step Correct by Stila Cosmetics is a color-corrector, brightener and anti-aging skincare serum primer. It contains 3 color-correcting brighteners. Green tone which instantly neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes, a lavender tone which counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look and a peach tone which brightens, illuminates and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots.

It looks very pretty and flawless on the skin. It covers skin imperfections very well and it also gives you the glow from within look. It makes the foundation go on a lot smoother, because of the even texture that it creates on the skin. It feels very hydrating and moisturizing on the skin, so it's definitely a great primer for people with dry skin.

♥ Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray, HERE.

I'm head over heels in love with the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. It holds my makeup in place while making it look nice and fresh thoughout the day. This is the travel size bottle, which is part of the Sephora Favorites Summerstash set that I ordered from Sephora a while ago. The set is still available online at Sephora's website if you are interested in checking it out. You can find it HERE! :-)

This is the best makeup setting spray that I have tried so far, definitely worth checking out if you are looking for one to try out. I don't have a lot left in the bottle, so I need to order myself a new one ASAP! :-)

♥ Makeup Revolution Lip Geek Lipstick in Totally NOT Boring! HERE

Makeup Revolution's Lip Geek Lipstick in Totally NOT Boring is a pretty deep pinky purple with a cream finish. It's got a nice and creamy texture, which glides on the lips perfectly. Since it's got a very creamy and buttery texture, it only last about 2-3 hours on my lips before I need to re-apply it. I normally don't wear lipstick for more than a couple of hours at a time, so that doesn't really bother me.

The Lip Geek Lipsticks from Makeup Revolution are only £2.99 each, so they are definitely worth checking out if you want good quality but still affordable at the same time. I reviewed the entire Lip Geek Lipstick range from Makeup Revolution a while ago. If you missed that post, you can check it out HERE! :-)

♥ Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black, HERE.

The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black has been a big favorite of mine for a while now. I have been using it for the entire month of September and I just can't get enough of it. The brush is quite small, which gives you a lot of control over the application. It's not messy to apply nor does it make my lashes feel stiff or look clumpy. It's also easy to remove with a waterproof makeup remover! :-)

♥ Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 12L, HERE

The Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 12L is a creamy, long lasting eye liner. 12L is a beautiful, blue with green highlights which makes the eyes really pop and stand out. It last a while on the waterline before it fades away and needs to be re-applied. Before I apply any eye liner, I like to take a cotton swab and run it along my waterline to remove any dirt and oils. I feel like that prevents the eye liner from fading away too soon.

For the past couple of months I have been obsessed with wearing this eye liner on my waterline. I love how it looks paired with a bronzed eye, it just compliments it so well. There are some serious stunning shades in the Aqua Eyes range, I definitely want to try out some more shades now! :-)

♥ Fashion Favorite: Handbag from Zara.

Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with handbags, especially large handbags. This beauty from Zara has been my go-to bag ever since I ordered it from their website a while ago. I love handbags that are big in size, because I usually like to carry my entire life with me in my bag, ha ha. I'm sure most of you girls can relate to this! :-)

This bag may look a little small to you, but it can actually fit a lot of things in it which makes it the perfect every day bag for me. Unfortunately this bag isn't available at Zara anymore, but they do have a bunch of other bags that are just as gorgeous and awesome as this one. You can check out their entire collection of bags HERE! :-)

♥ Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad - Photo Source HERE

Breaking Bad is one of my all time favorite TV shows. Simon surprised me the complete box set a couple of weeks ago, which made me want to watch it all over again. He haven't seen the show before, so we decided to watch it together. We just started watching season 3, which is one of the best seasons in my opinion.

If you're not familiar with the show, it's about a high school chemistry teacher who turns to a life of crime in order to provide for his family's future. The show is so well done and all the actors are fantastic! I highly recommend that you check it out on Netflix if you haven't watched it yet. It's very additive though, so don't blame me if you can't stop watching it! :-)
